Welcome to Q Research General

Pennsylvania Gov. Josh Shapiro (D) envisions himself “running for president,” Rep. Scott Perry (R-PA), up for reelection in Pennsylvania’s 10th Congressional District, said during an appearance on Breitbart News Daily.

Perry spoke about the races outside of his own – which currently has a lean Democrat status per Cook Political Report – pointing to the governor’s race and what it means for the future.

“We got our governor’s race going on, and of course our governor, Josh Shapiro. I knew him since we served in the state legislature together. He’s always and only had one goal in mind. It was never to be governor or attorney general of Pennsylvania,” Perry said.

“He’s always just visioned envisioned himself running for president, and then that’s what he’s gearing up for,” he warned. “So, of course, he doesn’t want to have a even close showing here. … He’s pumping a pile of money into his own race, which he shouldn’t have. Hasn’t done anything, right? He hasn’t done anything as governor, but he’s plowing a bunch of money into his race to make sure that the numbers are pumped up so that he can make the case to run for president.”

“His main goal is to flip four congressional seats and take that to the Democrat Party and say, ‘This is why you should make me the nominee for president.’ And so we’ve got all that going on in the state as well,” Perry said.

Host Mike Slater noted that GOP wins in Pennsylvania “denies Shapiro any claim that he’s the guy who should be the next president.”

“Although he’s so unimpressive, it’s fine if he were to run. … I want demoralizing victories. I want all the Democrats totally demoralized to the point where they just like don’t even try,” Slater agreed.

A Color Revolution in America? Nonprofit Networks, Foreign Influence and Recorded Plans for Constitutional Change Raise Questions

Oct 22, 2026

Is a color revolution taking place in the United States?

Are nonprofit organizations, foreign governments, and political activists working together to fundamentally change America’s constitutional system?

These questions are gaining attention following investigations by broadcaster Glenn Beck and researcher Jennica Pounds, known online as Data Republican, who have been examining the relationships between nongovernmental organizations (NGOs), charitable foundations, political activists, and foreign institutions.

The concerns extend beyond protests and political demonstrations. They reach into education, the media, government institutions, international relationships, and the financial networks supporting political advocacy.

For decades, Americans have watched significant cultural and political changes take place throughout the country. Critics of these changes argue that the transformation has been gradual, occurring through institutions that influence public opinion and shape future generations.

The news media has long played an important role in shaping public perceptions of political events. Before the internet became widely accessible, Americans had fewer opportunities to independently examine the information presented by major television networks and newspapers. Today, independent journalists, social media, and online research tools allow citizens to investigate claims and compare sources.

Education has also become a major battleground over political and cultural values. Concerns about Marxist ideology, socialism, and the role of government in society have fueled debates about what students are being taught in universities, high schools, and elementary schools.

Christianity’s place in American public life has likewise become a source of controversy. Prayer in public schools, religious displays on government property, and the acknowledgment of America’s Christian heritage continue to raise questions about the relationship between faith, government, and education.

These debates have intensified concerns about whether influential institutions are gradually reshaping the nation’s political and cultural identity.

But who is financing the organizations promoting these changes?

A Color Revolution in America? Nonprofit Networks, Foreign Influence and Recorded Plans for Constitutional Change Raise Questions

by Amber May | Oct 22, 2026

Glenn Beck and Data Republican Follow the Money

In a recent broadcast, Glenn Beck presented research conducted with Jennica Pounds, known as Data Republican, examining the financial relationships connecting American political organizations, nonprofit foundations, and international institutions.

According to Beck, the investigation revealed an extensive network of organizations that share resources, provide administrative services, finance advocacy projects, and support political movements.

Rather than identifying a single individual directing the entire operation, Beck described overlapping organizations connected through financial arrangements, personnel, and political objectives.

Among the organizations discussed were nongovernmental organizations, charitable foundations, domestic advocacy groups, and international institutions.

Beck questioned how organizations with relatively small memberships can establish extensive political operations involving demonstrations, legal assistance, communications, and public policy campaigns.

The answer, according to his presentation, involves the financial and administrative infrastructure supporting those movements.

Democratic Socialists of America and International Connections

One organization examined in Beck’s investigation was the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA).

Founded in March 1982 at a convention in Detroit, DSA has grown into a political organization advocating democratic socialism and major structural changes to American government.

The organization’s political program calls for significant changes to the existing constitutional system, including abolishing the Electoral College and Senate and restructuring federal executive and judicial institutions.

The DSA also maintains relationships with political organizations and movements outside the United States.

Beck’s investigation focused on connections involving Germany, Cuba, and Venezuela.

Germany’s Rosa-Luxemburg-Stiftung

One organization identified in the investigation was the Rosa-Luxemburg-Stiftung, a German political foundation associated with the country’s socialist left.

The foundation receives substantial financial support from the German government, including funding from federal ministries.

Beck cited financial reports describing approximately €74 million in German government funding during 2024.

The foundation also operates an office in New York City.

According to Beck’s presentation, a foundation employee has held an organizing role within the Bread and Roses caucus of DSA, creating a personnel connection between the publicly funded German institution and an American socialist political organization.

The investigation did not establish that the German government directly funds DSA.

However, the relationship raises questions about whether foreign government-supported institutions are providing research, training, educational resources, or other assistance to organizations involved in American political advocacy.

Another question concerns the Foreign Agents Registration Act, which requires certain individuals and organizations acting on behalf of foreign principals to disclose their relationships with the federal government.

Foreign funding alone does not establish a registration requirement. Whether registration is necessary depends on the nature of the relationship and the activities conducted.

DSA’s Relationship With Cuba

The investigation also examined DSA’s political relationships with Cuba.

In October 2025, DSA sent a delegation of approximately 40 members and elected leaders to Cuba.

According to the organization’s descriptions of its activities, the delegation delivered humanitarian assistance and met with Cuban workers, doctors, teachers, and other individuals.

DSA also maintains a Cuba solidarity working group advocating changes to American policy toward the communist nation.

Its stated objectives include ending the U.S. embargo and sanctions, developing relationships between American and Cuban labor organizations, and organizing political pressure in the United States.

Beck’s investigation highlighted additional organizations involved in Cuba-related advocacy, including the National Network on Cuba, the Hatuey Project, and The People’s Forum.

These organizations participate in overlapping advocacy and financial arrangements, although their relationships do not necessarily establish common leadership or direct government control.

The question is whether any of these partnerships extend beyond independent political advocacy into activities directed or financed by foreign governments.

Venezuela and International Political Organizing

DSA’s international activity also extends to Venezuela.

In 2021, the organization sent a delegation to Venezuela that participated in events associated with the Bicentennial Congress of the Peoples.

The delegation also engaged with the Simón Bolívar Institute and met with Nicolás Maduro and other political leaders.

DSA has openly discussed developing relationships with socialist political parties and organizations across Latin America.

The organization has also joined Progressive International, an international coalition that seeks to bring progressive political movements together across national borders.

Progressive International describes its mission as creating opportunities for organizations to share resources, strategies, and political experiences.

These international relationships raise questions about how political strategies developed abroad may influence American political movements.

The Nonprofit Funding System: How Fiscal Sponsorship Works

One of the most revealing aspects of Beck’s presentation involved the financial arrangements supporting activist organizations.

Many Americans see political demonstrations advertised by organizations with their own names, websites, logos, and fundraising campaigns.

However, the organization visible to the public is not always the legal entity receiving and administering donations.

This arrangement is often made possible through fiscal sponsorship.

Under fiscal sponsorship, an established nonprofit organization can provide administrative and financial services to a smaller project that may not have its own tax-exempt status.

The sponsoring nonprofit may process donations, receive grants, manage payroll, maintain accounting records, and provide administrative services.

These arrangements are generally lawful and are widely used throughout the nonprofit sector.

However, they can make it more difficult for members of the public to identify the financial relationships supporting a particular political advocacy project.

Beck argued that understanding this administrative structure is essential when investigating the money behind organized activism.

An organization conducting demonstrations may rely on separate organizations for financial administration, legal services, political training, communications, and logistical support.

The result can be a network capable of supporting political activities across multiple cities and states.

The existence of such an arrangement does not itself establish wrongdoing, but it provides an important starting point for examining financial transparency and accountability.

Data Republican Releases Recordings Discussing Constitutional Change

The investigation takes another turn with recordings publicized by Data Republican as part of a series titled The Democracy Files.

The recordings, identified as originating from political organizing discussions in March and August 2026, feature participants discussing the possibility of a federal legitimacy crisis, constitutional restructuring, and coordinated responses to future elections.

Pounds has characterized the material as evidence of a broader effort to reshape the American constitutional system.

The recordings contain statements that warrant closer examination, particularly as the country approaches the November midterm elections.

Former USAID Personnel and the Democracy Renewal Group (DRG)

In one recording, a speaker describes working with leaders of an organization called the Democracy Renewal Group.

According to the speaker, the group includes approximately 300 former USAID personnel with experience conducting international democracy-related activities and responding to authoritarian governments.

The speaker’s statement indicates a claimed working relationship with the group’s leadership. It does not establish that all 300 former USAID personnel were participating in a plan to restructure the American government.

Nevertheless, the involvement of former federal personnel experienced in international political organizing raises questions about the group’s current activities, sources of funding, and domestic partnerships.

Another participant in the discussions identifies himself as a member of DSA and its Marxist Unity Group caucus.

He describes the caucus’s efforts to include language in DSA’s political program calling for a democratic constitution featuring universal and equal suffrage and a unicameral legislature.

A unicameral legislature would replace the current two-chamber structure of Congress with a single legislative body.

The 2026 Midterms and a Potential Crisis of Legitimacy

Perhaps the most significant portion of the recordings concerns the November 2026 midterm elections.

During a discussion identified as taking place on March 25, 2026, a participant describes the possibility of an election-related legitimacy crisis.

The speaker suggests that widespread questions about the election’s legitimacy could create an opportunity to pursue fundamental constitutional changes.

The participant states that a midterm election meltdown could present an opportunity for advocates of constitutional reform.

The discussion also addresses whether political organizers should prepare for a process outside the existing constitutional amendment framework.

Ideas raised include convening a gathering resembling a third Continental Congress, establishing political red lines, developing a declaration, organizing a national dialogue, and eventually pursuing a new constitutional convention.

Participants discuss the importance of securing broad public support and establishing legitimacy for such a process.

These statements raise an important question: Are participants merely discussing hypothetical constitutional reforms, or are organizations developing coordinated plans to act during a disputed election?

The distinction matters because advocating constitutional amendments and political change is legally different from attempting to exercise governmental authority outside the law.

Renew American Democracy and the United Democracy Alliance

A separate recording, identified as originating from August 13, 2026, includes discussions attributed to representatives of Renew American Democracy, also referred to as RAD.

Danielle Reeve, identified as a RAD co-coordinator, discusses the possibility of the federal government entering what she describes as an acute legitimacy crisis.

She suggests that such a development could create an opportunity for substantial structural reform.

Another participant, identified as a RAD co-coordinator, discusses the United Democracy Alliance, describing it as a large coalition involving litigation, civil resistance, and noncooperation.

According to the recording, the coalition has been developing political red lines, indicators, and measurements intended to help participating organizations evaluate political developments.

The speaker also describes plans for a situation room that could provide real-time updates and information to participating organizations during the 2026 and 2028 election cycles.

The recording suggests that the coalition is preparing for coordinated responses to possible political crises.

It does not establish that the organizations intend to interfere with vote counting or manipulate election results.

However, the extent of the preparation raises questions about how participating organizations intend to respond if they dispute the legitimacy of federal actions or election outcomes.

A Proposed Memorandum for State Governors

Another significant disclosure involves a memorandum reportedly developed for state governors.

According to the recording, RAD-related participants prepared an options memorandum exploring how governors might respond if the federal government were regarded as illegitimate after certain political or constitutional boundaries were crossed.

The speaker describes discussions involving possible state responsibilities, coordination among governors, and communication with foreign governments.

The recording identifies Massachusetts, California, Illinois, Wisconsin, Utah, and Washington as states where outreach was reportedly conducted or attempted.

According to the speaker, Massachusetts officials did not wish to pursue the proposal.

California and Illinois officials were described as potentially interested if another state took the lead.

Outreach was also reportedly attempted in Wisconsin, Utah, and Washington.

These statements represent claims made during the recording. They do not establish that any governor formally endorsed the proposal, entered an agreement, or agreed to assume federal authority.

The speaker also emphasized that the concept was not intended as a plan for secession.

Nevertheless, the possibility of state governments attempting to assume federal functions during a disputed legitimacy crisis raises substantial constitutional questions.

What circumstances would justify such actions? Who would determine whether the federal government had lost legitimacy? And what legal authority would state governors possess to take on responsibilities normally exercised by federal institutions?

Those questions deserve answers.

The Blocking Movement and Coordinated Resistance

The recordings also describe what one participant calls a blocking movement.

According to the speaker, the movement involves organizations pursuing lawsuits, civil resistance, and noncooperation in opposition to federal policies and actions.

The United Democracy Alliance is described as a coalition bringing together groups engaged in these different activities.

To members of the public, lawsuits and protests may appear to arise independently as citizens respond to government decisions.

The recordings suggest that at least some organizations are intentionally coordinating their strategies and communications.

Organized litigation and peaceful resistance are lawful forms of political activity. Coordination does not automatically establish an illegal conspiracy.

However, these disclosures raise questions about which organizations are participating, who finances them, and whether their activities are connected to proposals for constitutional restructuring.

What Happens Next?

The research presented by Glenn Beck and Data Republicanbrings attention to overlapping nonprofit organizations, international political relationships, financial arrangements, and recorded discussions about America’s constitutional future.

Some of the underlying relationships are openly acknowledged by the organizations themselves. Other allegations, particularly those involving foreign government direction, election interference, or unlawful efforts to displace federal authority, require further independent investigation.

Data Republican has stated that she is working to organize and make additional documents and recordings available.

Those materials could provide more information about the planning described in the recordings and the individuals and organizations involved.

With the November 2026 midterms approaching, Americans deserve transparency about the political organizations seeking to influence public policy, the sources of their funding, and any proposals that could affect constitutional government.

The questions are serious.

Who is financing these networks? What activities are they coordinating? What discussions have taken place with public officials? And do any of the proposed actions extend beyond protected political advocacy?

The American public deserves documented answers.
